The Hunt

“What about him? The one over there in the far corner?”

It was a mere mutter against his ear before plush lips began to move against fine, alabaster skin. Eyes colored a deep midnight blue flickered over to the described location, fighting through the ocean of flickering lights and beyond inebriated patrons. Lust and desire weighed heavily in the air, but it was easy to push passed all that, finally reaching a blond haired man who slouched against the burgundy painted wall.

The attire he was wearing almost allowed him to blend in, to become one with the architect of the club. But his fair hair deceived him, making him stick out sorely in the sea of people. Lights of green, purple, and red would flicker across his visage occasionally, revealing his fawn eyes and the cigarette tucked between his pale lips. He appeared strong, like he would put up a fight. However, as those same dark blues continued to scan him, they took in the rest of his body, the owner of those exotic orbs shaking his head.

“No. Too fragile looking. You know I like to play with my meal for a bit, he would never last.”

The lips working on his neck finally pulled away, a gravelly laughter echoing close by before long fingers decked out in gothic Victorian jewelry brushed strands of his white hued locks behind an ear with a multitude of piercings. “We’ve been searching for days. If you don’t choose soon, your hunger is going to get to the best of you, Ruki.”

At the call of the endearment blessed upon him centuries ago, Ruki tore his gaze away from their would-be prey, looking up at the man whose side he had been so loyally by for more than a handful of decades. “Don’t worry, Aoi. I’ll choose soon. Just give me some more time. I want to find someone we’ll both enjoy.”

Aoi was looking down at him, his full lips now even more plump due to the loving suction he’d been offering Ruki’s pale, porcelain neck not even minutes before. His obsidian strands hung well past his shoulders, fanning around a countenance that was equally as smooth and wan as Ruki’s own. Dark, piercing eyes surrounded by charcoal and a strong jawline, Aoi gave off the presence of someone superior, which, compared to everyone else in the room aside the beautiful creature next him, he was. Because even if older, he’d always see Ruki as his equal.

Four hours have passed since they walked through the doors of their local hunting grounds, tonight being their fourth night on the prowl. Typically, it was an easy search. They came in, plopped themselves down in the booth that had become only theirs over the year, and they would watch. Contrasting pairs of eyes would scan the club’s selection for the night, the variety they had to choose from nothing but vast. Tall and lanky. Slender and beautiful. Curvaceous and sexy. Full and plump.

It was a myriad of choices; every option of every gender available to them within a snap of their fingers. Be that as it may, the past few nights Ruki has decided he wanted someone special. One that he would savor for years to come. One that he would think back to as he was ripping into a victim somewhere in the very distant future, only to pause and think about the savory sanguine liquid of the martyr he and Aoi would soon conquer, wanting to bask in the scent of their blood and realize there was nothing better in the world.

“Okay, then. Take your time.”

And time Ruki did take. His dainty figure leaned forward, resting his elbows on the ebony wood before him. Well-manicured nails traced the rim of the fruity concoction in front of him, occasionally lifting the little umbrella out of the glass and curling his tongue around the tooth pick shard, getting a taste of the mixture on his tongue. Crossed legs covered in tight, black denim under the table swung impatiently while he continued his search, eventually honing in on a rather tall figure.

Golden hair that changed under the countless patterns of lights and never ending legs. Ruki examined him, taking in all his features. He appeared elite, almost aristocratic, in his well-tailored suit and sleeked back hair. And as he watched his movements, Ruki could feel his hunger growing, telling himself that this man was the one. Nevertheless, the moment he went to lay a hand on Aoi’s broad shoulder and whisper to his lifelong partner that he had finally found their meal for the night, Ruki found his aquiline nose scrunching in disgust, watching as his target downed a glass of cheap brandy.

Aoi sighed next to him, a soft touch to his thigh telling Ruki to look up at him. “What’s wrong with this one, hmm? He looks pretty delectable to me.”

Ruki rolled his carefully painted eyes, pointing across the club to the man sitting at the bar. “He may look delectable, but did you just see what he put in his mouth? That has to be the cheapest drink you could possible buy at this place.” His face contorted into even more of a disgusted expression, “He would taste awful.”

The hand on Ruki’s thigh slid forward, now pressing down on the bulge in the center of his pants. A soft sigh slipped through his painted red lips, his pink tongue darting out in the slightest as Aoi began to nibble on his neck again, only to reach his ear and whisper provocatively. “Hurry up and find someone who’ll taste good then. I’m beginning to grow impatient.”

There it was, the factor that had attracted Ruki to Aoi in the first place. His remarkable first-rate skill in authority.

They had met when Ruki was a mere fledgling. Abandoned by his maker and left to fend for himself in this crazed new world. He was scared, alone. Out of control. Killing for the hell of it, just because he now had the power and strength. Leaving corpse after corpse behind as he wandered through various cities, never once looking back and thinking to clean up his trail.

That was how he had been caught.

Following his prey one night, cornering them in a back alley. His teeth within centimeters of ripping into that pulsing jugular when a gentle hand was placed on his shoulder. Ruki had been ready to snarl, to attack whoever dared to interrupt his meal. Yet instead, he stood still in his tracks, staring up into endless ebony pools. A word hadn’t even needed to be spoken. It was a silent understanding, that he needed to let go. So, he had.

Taken under Aoi’s wing, he was taught the ways of this new world he found himself so unexpectedly thrown into. The minimal he needed to consume for survival, how to cover up his trail, leaving behind not a bit of evidence that could connect him to the disappearance of the corpses Aoi now taught him how to properly get rid of. It was a learning process, one that Ruki had perfected in his centuries together with powerful man next to him.

The sensual touches Aoi was gracing his body with still hadn’t stopped, Ruki gasping as one of those bold hands continued to work him through his jeans and lips teased and nipped his neck. It was Aoi’s way of getting him to hurry up, to choose so they could lure whoever the unlucky victim was tonight out of the club and back to their own quarters.

With frantic eyes, Ruki continued to search, just about to give up and choose the next person who walked his path. And that’s when he saw him.

Towel slung over his shoulder and filled out arms on display. He worked behind the counter, long waves of mocha pulled back tight in a rubber band. A warm smile spread across his thin lips as he chatted with a patron, Ruki able to see a light layer of sweat decorating his body. About Aoi’s height, broad shoulders, and lean. He gave off a peaceful aura, probably a good family man.

Ruki wanted nothing more than to add a bit of destruction to his life.

“T-there…behind the bar.”

Lips and hand lifted off his body, he breathed a sigh of relief, especially when his midnight blues flickered up and watched as Aoi nodded in approval.

“He looks…delicious.” Ruki could see the hungered lust appear in Aoi’s dark eyes, “Go do your thing.”

A kiss pressed to his cheek, he easily slid out of the booth.

It didn’t come as a surprise to Ruki that as he sauntered away across his current path, he could feel all eyes on him. He’s come to accept over years past that he was a rarity, completely exotic in the big city of Tokyo. It was what gave him his advantage in hunting. Aoi’s darker looks seemingly scared off whomever they were tracking; fear igniting before they ever had a chance to properly persuade. However, Ruki’s combination of soft looks and sensuality caught practically everyone’s attention, the façade smiles he had to offer always keeping them around long enough to get an attack underway.

Heartbeats and the appeasing harmony of pulsing crimson flooded his ears as he pushed his way through the crowd of people, a grim smirk crossing his features as the natural high of bloodlust took over. He felt lightheaded in the best of ways, as if the steady scent of delicious iron was allowing him to drift off into a peaceful sleep. That feeling went into overdrive the moment he finally found his victim was within only feet of him, quickly crossing the small space between them and planting himself on the stool directly in front of the bartender.

Looking up from buffering a glass, the bartender found deep blues staring directly at him, a smug smile on posh, rouged cardinal lips. His own pair quirked at the corners as well, soon placing the glass down and throwing the towel over his shoulder. “And just what can I get for you?”

Resting his chin in the palm of his hand, Ruki allowed his natural sensuality to take over. His alluring eyes scanned up and down the body of the man in front of him, taking in every detail now that he was up close and personal, realizing that he was beyond perfect – even just the scent of his blood was getting Ruki excited. Batting slate eyelashes and lowering his voice so it was velvety smooth, he shifted, making sure their gazes met. “Oh, there’s a lot you can get for me. But I’ll start out with the sweetest cocktail you have…and your name.”

The brunette pushed back some of the wavy strands of hair that had fallen loose from his rubber band, Ruki noticing a mesmeric indent on the left side of his face as the bartender leaned in closer in order to hear him above the booming music, his smile deepening. “Coming right up.”

Ruki arched a pitch brow, crossing his arms over his chest and speaking up as his prey started turning away from him. “So…you’re only going to fulfill half of my request? Only a drink?”

A rough chuckle was heard, the bartender looking over his shoulder as he prepared Ruki’s drink. He shot another wide smile his way, only appearing all the more charming. Stirring the beverage in hand with a thin straw, the brunette placed the colorful glass in front of Ruki. Elbows sprawled out on the counter top, he removed the black stirrer, licking the excess liquid off before beginning to casually chew on it. “The name’s Yutaka.”

Grins now on both their faces, Ruki leaned forward in his seat, practically putting each other face to face, “Well, Yutaka…I’m Ruki. And I’m looking to have some fun tonight, what about you?”

A moment of surprise took over when Yutaka’s only answer was to turn his back on him; the dainty blond now a complete mixture of enraged and confused. His methods never failed, he was always able to get whoever he wanted. He found his growing anger wanting to take over his actions, to just jump the bar counter and drain the inviting man in front of him; the idea of a shocked crowd watching on in horror only making the plan of action all the more enticing. He knew he would have to start over anew with Aoi; new names, new home, and knowing Aoi and his precaution, a new country instead of a new prefecture. Nevertheless, at the moment, none of that seemed to bother him, midnight blues taking on a tinge of red as infuriated gluttony took over.

Manicured nails digging into the mahogany surface in front of him, he found himself ready to plummet forward. But just as his anger completely snapped, Yutaka turned back towards him from washing down the mess he’d made while preparing his drink, a knowing simper on thin lips.

“I get off of work at 2. Meet me out back.”

***

It was 2 o’clock on the dot when Ruki found himself waiting in the back alley.

Aoi had disappeared long ago, heading back to their residence and preparing for a night that was sure to be filled with nothing but the tantalizing smell and taste of iron, leaving Ruki all alone; to seduce and conquer.

The wind was blowing wildly, the cool autumn night having long ago forced the streets to become nothing but black. To the right of him, far off on the side walk that one would take to be lead to the alley, was a streetlight, acting as a beacon in the early morning. It flickered, annoyingly so, the dainty light haired creature wanting nothing more than for the bulb to blow out and leave him in complete darkness. That was how he preferred things, after all.

A cigarette tucked between puckered lips, he blew smoke away in rings, hoping the simple act would distract him from the boredom he was now suffering. It was always like this. It was more than delightful searching for the night’s slaughter, more than thrilling to hook that poor fool and drag them in. But after that, everything seemed to come to a sudden pause. The wait began, and it was a wait that he dreaded each and every time.

Still, Ruki knew it would be well worth it. Because by the end of this wait, not only would he be sated in every way possible, but his dark haired counterpart would as well. And pleasing Aoi had become one of his favorite luxuries in life.

The creaky, steel door opened behind him, heavy footsteps soon following. From the delicious aroma in the air, he could already tell who it was. But still, he let the figure slowly approach behind him, allowing him to believe his sudden appearance was a surprise.

“Been waiting long?”

Ruki turned with a start, placing his hand over his chest and appearing taken aback; playing the role he knew Yutaka expected of him. “Not very…just about 15 minutes. Ready to go?”

For the second time this evening, the brunette bartender gave Ruki another whirlwind of a surprise. Most men jumped at the elegant creature’s offering, practically trying to drag him to the nearest hotel or isolated area to have their way with him. But not Yutaka. He simply shrugged his shoulders, beginning to fumble around in his pockets. When he finally found what he was looking for, he mumbled a small ‘Ah ha’ before slipping the white roll between his lips, leaning forward and lighting up on Ruki’s own cigarette. “Thanks. I always seem to be misplacing my damn lighters.”

Blinking was all Ruki could do, jet black lashes opening and closing repeatedly, dusting over the tips of his porcelain cheek bones and jaw dropping slightly, sending his small roll of tobacco filtering to the ground. Yutaka continued to puff on his cigarette, tilting his head up to the moon in the sky and humming lightly.

The anger coursing through Ruki’s system earlier was now back at its fullest, his unquenched hunger taking over his emotions. “Do you not take me seriously or something? Here I stand, offering you something most men would beg to have, and you act so nonchalant about it? What the fuck is actually wrong with you?”

The man, who had appeared to be nothing but the perfect sacrifice in Ruki’s eyes earlier turned to him, breaking his gaze with the night sky and getting close, their faces practically aligned. It was a stare down; deep blue attempting to intimidate mocha brown. Years and years have passed and never once had Ruki come across prey that challenged him as much as the handsome brunette in front of him. It was infuriating.

After a few moments of complete silence, a lordly leer spread across the bartender’s lips, rings of smoke that mimicked Ruki’s own from earlier now being blown in the exotic blond’s face. “There’s actually nothing wrong with me.” Yutaka’s tone was as if he was smiting Ruki, reprimanding him for something unknown. “The only one who has a problem here is you.”

Ruki’s jaw went stern, “Wha-“

“I saw you at your booth earlier. You have a boyfriend. Mighty low of you to try and hook up with someone else right in front of him, don’t you think?”

“I…” fists clenching at his sides, blood boiling. He knew he had the power to tear the haughty man who stood so confidently in front of him to shreds. That one smooth upper cut to his jaw would end his life in less than a heartbeat, leaving his cooling vital sanguine liquid for Ruki to devour. In spite of the murderous intent he now had ravaging his system, the petite creature simply cleared his throat, trying to appear hurt by softening his voice, degrading his strength to discover more about the unusual bartender. “So you knew I was with someone else, huh?” Ruki clicked his tongue, “Why did you tell me to wait for you then?”

The patronizing expression on Yutaka’s suave display only grew, closing the distance and lining his lips of with Ruki’s, allowing his warm breaths to ghost across his full, scarlet pout. “Hmm…to teach you a lesson.”

A swarthy, finely etched on brow was raised, arms crossed over his chest tightly as a way of holding back his undying urge to massacre this unbelievably arrogant man on the spot. “Teach me a lesson? What the hell does that-“

“Teach you a lesson in loyalty. It’s obvious the guy you had by your side is completely infatuated with you, don’t fuck things up over something as stupid as trying to hook up with a stranger,” reaching forward, Yutaka’s hand ruffled soft white tendrils, mussing up all of the hard work Ruki put into his nightly appearance. “I’ll see you later, Ruki-kun. Run on home to your boyfriend now.”

Livid. Ruki was fucking livid. He felt belittled, getting spoken to by a mere bartender as such. Yet, he let Yutaka walk away. Because he knew there would be the day where he went out to seek proper revenge. And when that day came to, he was going to make sure Yutaka regretted ever regarding him with such caviler pride.

Shoving his hands in his coat pockets, he began to storm off, heading back in the direction of his and Aoi’s home. But there was no way in hell he was coming home empty handed. So for what seemed like a fraction of a second, he dipped back inside the club, finding it still just as busy as before. However crowded the space currently was, his deep blues still were able to instantly hone in on one of the victims he had picked out early, having remembered his scent. Steps confident, he paraded up to the man who smelt nothing of cheap brandy, tapping his shoulder and making him look his way. “What’s your name?”

The man continued to stare, mouth falling open, lips still glossy from the drink he’d been sipping, “Uruha.”

Ruki’s couldn’t even bring his usual sensual smile to cross his lips, merely bending at the waist and leveling their faces. It would go unnoticed to anybody else in the vibrant bar, but the color in those midnight abysses changed color in the slightest, dragging Uruha in, putting him in a state that could be described as nothing but a trance. “Well, Uruha. You’re coming home with me.”

“O-okay.” Putting down his glass of brandy and nodding his head, the tall man stood, following Ruki out the door without any hesitation; it unbeknownst to him that in just a few hours time he’d be taking his last breath.

***

“Alright, the body is all taken care of.”

Standing in front of the bathroom mirror, hands gripped tightly on the porcelain of the sink, he stared at a grinning Aoi through the looking glass; finding crimson stains around his entire mouth, dripping down his chest. Ruki could smell the outdoors still fresh on his dark haired counterpart’s skin; dew and strands of grass and dirt. Ruki had a similar pattern of dark splatter, splotches ranging from the curve of his lips to the tips of his white hair, the smell of death heavy in the air.

“Good. Someone who tastes that awful deserves to be buried right away so I don’t have to be reminded of my desperate decisions.” With a shrug of his shoulders, he broke their contact, leaning over and turning on the faucet, beginning to wipe his face clean; ridding himself of the evidence that once was.

A brusque chuckle and then arms were laced around Ruki’s slim waist, those plush lips from earlier on in the evening now kissing their way down his exposed back. “Are you ever going to tell me what happened to the guy you originally had picked out?”

Sighing, he began rinsing his face one last time, now diluted droplets of pink dripping down his chin and cheeks, once more meeting Aoi’s hypnotizing gaze through the fogged mirror. “It’s simple, really. He questioned my loyalty to you.”

A playful hiss escaped Aoi, the elder hooking his chin over a frail shoulder and folding his arms against an equally as narrow chest. “That was really stupid on his part. What’re you going to do to teach him his lesson, Ru?”

Smirks that were identical with sin quirked up on either men’s features, their contrasting orbs meeting through the mirror one last time before Ruki turned in the hold, facing Aoi’s toned body and cupping his chiseled face with his petite hands. Wiping away crusted blood and grime with the pads of his thumbs, only to lift himself on the tips of his toes and brush their lips together, pulling back and nipping at a full bottom lip. His voice was soft, a whisper right against the corner of the dark haired man’s mouth.

“I’m going to make him wish he was dead.”

It wasn’t the next night or the next week he decided to follow through on his plan. Nor was it the following week or the week after that. Ruki waited a full month before making a reemergence at the bar; having scoped and tracked Yutaka’s schedule the past thirty days, knowing he was indeed working tonight. As per usual, he sauntered across the entire building, taking a seat in the velvet booth. He found more eyes were on him than he was used to, male and female alike now unafraid to glance his way. Because for the first time in the year since this had become his and Aoi’s hunting grounds, he was alone.

A young man approached his booth, leaning in close and smiling as he removed a small pad of paper from the required black apron around his waist. “What can I get for you, sir?”

Expression nothing but conniving, Ruki simply lifted a slim, painted black nail, pointing in the direction of the bar; right at Yutaka. “Him. You can bring me him.”

The gleeful greeting on the waiter’s face plummeted, shaking his head. “I’m sorry, sir, but he’s our only bartender tonight and we’re quite busy. But I can get you any drink you’d like, just name it.” Back to being overbearingly joyful, the young man tapped the tip of a pen on his notepad, eagerly awaiting an order.

Having expected such a response, Ruki kept his calm visage exactly the same, merely tugging his lips up at the corner. Using the same finger which had been pointing at Yutaka, he flipped his hand around, now curling his finger towards him, indicating for the barkeep to lean in closer.

Probably believing he had attained the chance to leave the vicinity with such an exotic rarity tonight, the young man didn’t even think to hesitate. He bent over, getting face to face with the gorgeous pale white countenance before him. However, that beam on his face was soon wiped away, a startled gasp cutting loose from now trembling lips due to petite hands wrapping in the chest of his shirt and viciously pulling him into the booth.

Wasting no time, Ruki pinned the young barkeep down, pressing his trembling back into the velvet structure. Straddling his lap and eyeing him, he relished in the fear he saw and felt surrounding the young man, a sneer crossing his pillowed lips that revealed a pair of pointed ivories.

Trembling and gasping under his weight, the barkeep screamed, trying to push Ruki off of him and free himself. The efforts tore a hearty laugh from the blond’s throat, dipping his head as to whisper in his current victim’s ear. “You know…one of my favorite reasons to come hunting here is because it’s so loud and everybody is just so fucking trashed that they’d never notice somebody as pathetic as you missing.” The young waiter whimpered, still trying to fight for his life, feeling Ruki’s nails graze over his neck. “But luckily for you, I’ve had my prey picked out for quite a while.”

Quicker than anyone could imagine, Ruki’s hands were cupping the straddled man’s cheeks, forcing their eyes to meet. And just like the month before, he took to using one of his abilities he rarely liked to use during a hunt. Deep blues dilated, their hue changing almost unnoticeably, and he remained completely quiet until he saw the man beneath him fall into a distant trance.

Pinching the barkeep’s cheeks until his lips puckered, Ruki spoke softly. “Now, you say you’re busy tonight. But you see, the thing is, I’ve been a really good costumer for a really long time now. So I expect to get whatever the fuck I want. Got it?”

“Y-yes, sir.”

“Good, I’m glad you understand. So what’s going to happen now is you’re going to walk over to the bar and grab Yutaka for me. Tell him he has someone here who’s very excited to see him.”

“B-but, he’s the only-“

Ruki puckered the barkeep’s lips even more. “Shhh, no no. You don’t interrupt me or I kill you, got that?” the young man only nodded his head in response, still looking beyond terrified even in his mesmerized state. “Now, as I was saying. Go get me Yutaka. You can take over for him at the bar for a while, can’t you?” again, only a nod of the head, causing Ruki’s grin to widen cheek to cheek. “What a good boy you are.”

With a demeaning pat on the cheek, Ruki crawled off the young barkeep, blinking his eyes once to bring everything into motion. Without a word, the young man slid out of the booth, bowing to Ruki out of respect; his eyes still hazy, under Ruki’s spell.

The easy part of the night now complete, the exotic creature looked on across the club as his plan began to unfold. The man he just had trembling in fear under him was approaching Yutaka, poking his shoulder and grabbing his attention. And then unsurprisingly, seconds later, Ruki had deep mocha orbs aimed in his direction, his hand raising to tauntingly wave to the bartender across the club. Even at this large distance, he knew exactly what Yutaka said, telling the kid he’d be right back as he threw his towel down, grabbed the drink he had been working on, and crossed the distance; putting himself in front of Ruki.

“Well, well. If it isn’t Ruki-kun. Gotta say, I’m a bit surprised to see you here…and alone, at that.”

Cringing at the belittling honorific, the light hue haired creature continued to keep up with his smug façade, having to resist the urge to snap Yutaka’s neck where he stood. Because even after a month had passed, the anger he still felt for the man before him was nothing but sky high. Nobody questioned his loyalty for Aoi and got away with it. Nobody.

Humming, he took the drink in Yutaka’s hand. Gulping its remains and running his tongue over his full lips; knowing he already had the brunette with the way he watched his every movement. “What can I say? Been going through some changes lately and I definitely needed a few drinks tonight.”

Without a word of invite, Yutaka slid into the booth next to Ruki; resting his arm on the seat backing behind Ruki. “Would these changes happen to do with the reason why you’re here alone tonight?”

Ruki did his best to remind himself not to snap, that the wait would be worth it. And so he conjured up a seductive shine; resting his hand on Yutaka’s thigh and swirling a soft pattern. “Ohh, how very clever of you, Yutaka. Able to figure out my boyfriend dumped me just because I walked in here alone, huh?”

“Well, I knew you wouldn’t come in here trying to get in my pants while you were still with him. Not after our last run in.”

Another powerful cringe hit him as he heard that cavalier remark leave smug lips, the brunette never once doubting that he was right about anything and everything from their last meeting.

Ruki was determined to knock him down a peg.

Petite fingers curling in on Yutaka’s thigh and painted nails digging in slightly as the dainty creature held back on turning the man before him into a pile of cardinal carnage. “Who says I’m trying to get in your pants?”

Another smug tug of the lips, Yutaka dipping his head and putting his and Ruki’s lips within mere centimeters of each other’s; able to feel each other’s warm breaths. “Me.”

For the first time this evening, a true fit of laughter escaped Ruki, his hand gazing higher up on the brunette’s thigh and squeezing the warmth offered there as he just barely skimmed their lips. Pressing them together, he pulled Yutaka into a light kiss, giving him just the bare minimum of what he had to offer him tonight, before pulling away, now able to sport a smirk of his own. “What do you know? For once…you’re actually right.”

From that moment on, Ruki’s plan flowed perfectly. He walked back with Yutaka to the bar, sat at a stool and tempted him the entire night. Flirty gestures, teasing glances and caresses. He used everything he had to slowly lure Yutaka further and further into his trap. And when the clock finally struck two once more, he didn’t hesitate to grab Yutaka’s hand and drag him out of the bar.

They ended up in the back alley, kissing heatedly under the flickering light, grinding their hardening cocks together and moaning without shame. Every inch of their bodies were worshipped by tongues, hands, or lips alone; dragging feral growls from either man.

A hand attempted to dip its way into Ruki’s tight pants, the petite man pulling away from the heated exchange with a rough laugh, humming right against the brunette’s lips. “Now that I’ve gotten a taste of how good you are, how about we take things back to my place, hmm?”

Yutaka grinned, displaying full laugh lines and a single sided dimple, still continuing to lightly grind their lower regions together. “Sounds good to me. I’ll drive.”

The drive took about twenty more minutes than it should have, Ruki forfeiting giving Yutaka verbal instructions so he could indeed lean over the gear shift of the car and show the bartender just how talented his mouth truly was; causing Yutaka to drive way below the average speed limit and get lost one or two times. However, they eventually made it to the lone house on one of the back roads, the pair kissing desperately as they slammed each other against the hall way walls, blindly searching for Ruki’s room.

They crashed into lamps and vases, knocked down picture frames and sent them shattering to the ground. But none of that mattered at the moment. They were both riled up, in need of a quick release, and hearing those rousing groans get pulled from somewhere deep inside of them only added to the disparity of the entire situation.

Yutaka’s wide hands slid down to the swell of Ruki’s ass, grabbing roughly and forcing the blond’s dainty body to be pressed flushed against his. Nails painted a deep black dug into the small of the bartender’s back, the heat building in his core now nothing but unbearable, forcing him to pull back for the exchange with a hiss. “Wrap your legs around me, now.”

Ruki smirked, teasing Yutaka’s lips with a flick of his tongue, “What’s the matter? Getting impatient?”

But before Yutaka could respond, Ruki had practically jumped him, the pair teetering back and forth as they balanced out the sudden added wait. Their lips smashed back together and the brunette was now headed right for the open door he’d spotted in the hallway during their mild break, not caring if it was the bathroom, a guest room, or the damn bed room. He just had to have the man in his arms this instant.

Luck was apparently playing on his side tonight, for when they walked through the door, a plush, king size bed was there for him to toss the dainty, crass man on. Ruki’s back met the mattress and right away both sets of hands got to work on undressing each other; either man completely naked in what seemed to be only a seconds breath.

Hard cocks grating together, whimpers and moans alike mixing. Ruki dug through the side table drawer, pulling out the items needed and knowing Yutaka would know what to do with them; a slick finger working his entrance moments later and sending him keening off the bed in pure delight.

The bartender was completely subdued, the man withering under him nothing but erotic, feeling himself fall further into that seductive pull. Another finger was added, more pleasured sounds echoing throughout the room, Yutaka knowing this all couldn’t end tonight. Ruki was everything he needed; crude, able to give and take control, mysterious. He wanted to stick around the other, watch as he unraveled and showed every dimension he had to offer.

…And watching those pillowed lips tug up into a pleased smile, Yutaka could almost swear that Ruki could hear his thoughts.

“You ready?” A gravelly whisper against a heavily pierced ear, Yutaka rolling on the condom, positioning himself and getting ready to push in once he had Ruki’s permission.

Smiling, Ruki raised himself slightly on his elbows, brushing his and Yutaka’s lips together and whispering; his smile morphing into a malicious sneer. “More than you’ll ever know…”

Before Yutaka could question the sudden change in personality, he felt a splitting ache form at the back of his head, his entire world going black seconds later.

Waking up, his entire world felt groggy. Shuffling could be heard around him, whispers and condescending cackles. But what threw him off the most was his lack of ability to move.

Mocha orbs flickering open, he blinked and then blinked again; his hazy vision putting into sight two men kneeled on either side of him. Even with his blurry eyesight, it was obvious one of those two men were Ruki, Yutaka able to recognize that grin anywhere. The other dark haired man took a few moments to identify, the bartender searching all the filing folders in his mind and finally realizing that the third body in the room was Ruki’s…ex.

Groaning in pain, Yutaka allowed his head to fall forward; tugging at his arms and legs and discerning the fact he was very well bind. “Ruki…what is all this…about?” Words sluggish, feeling himself begin to nod out again, he was fully awaken upon a skin splitting slap being delivered to his face; blood now trickling down his chin from the corner of his thin lips.

“Wake up, you filthy human.” Vision clear and now alert, shivering as Ruki leaned forward and licked the pulsing trail of crimson off his face. “Hmm, for being such a fucking prick, you sure do taste good. Aoi, you wanna try?”

“Certainly do…” Licking his lips and leaning forward, Aoi trailed his full lips down Yutaka’s throat, making the bartender tense, his breathing becoming heavy. Ruki watched pleased as Yutaka verged on hyperventilating, his shifty eyes silently asking Ruki what was going on, only for the blond to remain quiet and smug.

A gasp escaped him when he felt teeth nibble harshly against the hollow of his throat, new trails of deep red beginning to drip down his throat; only to feel Aoi’s warm tongue lap them up, humming in content. “Hmm, Ru. You certainly know how to pick them. He’s…savory.”

Yutaka’s chest was heaving violently by the point, his eyes wide and full of fear. Body beginning to thrash wildly, wishing to break free. “W-what the fuck is wrong with you guys? W-who the fuck does this!” Never before had he felt he was in such a state of panic, continuing to watch as the two men before him leaned over him and exchanged a heated kiss; the dark haired man asking Ruki if he’d like to do the honors.

Ignoring the brunette’s exclaim, Ruki laughed brusquely, pressing another kiss to Aoi’s full lips before turning all his attention on Yutaka, feeling his excitement build with each passing second. So long he’s waited for this moment; revenge that would last an eternity.

Crawling into Yutaka’s lap, Ruki sat innocently, brushing his hands down the side of Yutaka’s face and offering a deliberating pout. “You see, Yutaka…you were a fucking asshole to me. If there’s one thing I can pride myself on, it’s the loyalty I hold to my dear Aoi. And for ever questioning me about it, you will pay. Got that?”

All of the thrashing he’d been offering before stopped, Yutaka looking nothing but desperate, realizing the situation he’d found himself in wasn’t light. He was going to die. Jaw stern and voice soft, he muttered the only thing he could manage, “W-why? I…I…please don’t kill me. I have a daughter, I’m all she has…p-please. Don’t.”

A soft tsk, followed by Ruki shaking his head. “No, no, Yutaka. That’s not how these things work. See, you’re so big on this loyalty thing, right? Sooo…I’m going to show you what it feels like to remain loyal to someone-” a pause, leaning in and whispering the final words directly against Yutaka’s ear, “…for the rest of eternity.”

It was one last failed effort on Yutaka’s part, gasping and thrusting his hips up, trying to break free. But it all proved futile, for the next instant Aoi was holding his head still with all his strength, allowing Ruki to chance to bite into his own pale wrist and draw blood; soon smashing his and Yutaka’s mouths together, forcing the brunette to swallow all the blood he could.

Seconds later, Ruki was tearing into the jugular at the side of Yutaka’s neck, none of the playful nips from earlier in existent. It was savage, treating the man screaming and panting beneath him as nothing but a meal. However long it took, he wasn’t exactly sure, but soon enough Yutaka was frail and weak beneath him, the only object supporting him being the head of the bed and the binds.

Nothing but ecstatic, the petite man leaned over the rapidly declining bartender, kissing Aoi breathless and letting him have another taste; both of them moaning and beginning a seductive dance with their bodies. Not even caring about the withering human between them.

Pulling back, Ruki grabbed the sides of Aoi’s face, smearing blood all down the sides of his face and still smiling like he’d reached cloud nine. “Aoi…I want you to do it. It would be my honor.”

Arching a brow, Aoi continued to lay kisses all over Ruki’s painted visage, whispering against his lips. “Are you sure?”

“Yes, definitely.”

“No, I mean are you sure you want to do this at all? It’s a lot of responsibility…we could just get rid of him like we do the rest…”

Shaking his head, Ruki remained serious. “I know it is. But trust me, I’m ready.”

Those were words Aoi had no need to question, Ruki proving himself as determined in all the years they were together, never once going back on anything he ever said he’d do. With a nod of the head and another quick peck of the lips, Aoi crawled his way up to Yutaka’s limp body, placing his lips in what could only be described as sweetly to his temple, before muttering something in his ear. “I promise, when you wake up…It’ll all be so much better…”

Yutaka gasped as those strong hands formed a firm hold on his head, gurgling on his blood momentarily, only for everything to go black once more as his head was snapped violently to the side and a grueling crunch filled the air.

It looked like he was in nothing more than a peaceful sleep, and in a sense, that’s exactly what it was. In all Ruki’s years living his life after death, he’d never once seen this sight, finding himself entrapped. He crawled up to Aoi’s side, wrapping a single hand around his partner’s forearm and leaning his head on his shoulder, continuing to watch Yutaka in his deathly slumber. Reaching forward, he began combing his fingers through matted brunette locks, smiling serenely; feeling like a proud parent at watching the beautiful creature he created.

For as much as it was a form of revenge, it was also the next chapter in Ruki’s life. Just like Aoi had taken him on, he was accepting a new challenge, a way to keep him entertained for the next few centuries to come. And knowing they’d left off on a sour note, Ruki knew the next years of his life were going to be nothing but a roller coaster. He could feel the excitement boiling in his blood.

“When he awakes, you know he’ll be Yutaka no more, yes?” Ruki nodded his head to Aoi’s question. “And just what do you plan on calling him, hmm?”

A moment of silence, Ruki still brushing his pale fingers through dark locks. Only to look up at Aoi with a cheek to cheek grin, his answer a quiet whisper in the dark.

“Kai. His name is Kai...”
