Aha! I knew Kai would put up at least a bit of a fight, haha. But when you're dealing with a persistent Ruki, it makes things pretty difficult D: haha. Rusty smut, my ass. It all read very well and I especially enjoyed the first encounter. You could totally sense Taka's desperation in that moment...like, he needed to take some sort of physical ownership over Kai...he needed to make his mark or things might not work out. He knew that if there was any getting through to Kai, it was going to have to be through their baser urges, bc otherwise Kai's brain & all his overwhelming notions concerning why it was wrong were going to overtake anything. I am sleepy and this makes no sense, but I swear there was a point buried in there somewhere D: haha
Ah, and their banter was so cute in such a dick-ish way in this half :P You could tell that as comfortable as Kai had been with him before, a whole new level of comfort and openness had been achieved between them based on the way they conversed. The whole bit about the BJs and college had me snorting. And Taka worshipping Kai's cock and body~ mmhhmm. :P
Oh! And I need to mention how well you tied the 'truth' aspect in with this half, as well. Gah, it was extra gut-wrenching when they had their chat in Kai's bedroom and all of a sudden, Taka's one example of pure truth was tainted and I just ;___;
Speaking of - that scene...*sighs* I kind of expected something of the sort would come up eventually, just given the circumstances...but I didn't expect it to be so like...blunt-force trauma D: haha. Honestly, I kind of thought you were going to stick it to us and leave this as angst haha :P When the whole college scene came about, I thought he was going to end up seeing Kai...but I was like...balling my fists up, expecting that Kai was going to be all wistfully telling him stories like he used to and then Ruki be all 'oh. how's your wife, btw' and...yeah, my heart is very glad that's not how it turned out haha. I appreciate the fluffy ending and all of the possibilities~ Like Ruki helping Kai fix up his office in Tokyo, hanging ducky wallpaper in the pediatric room or something dorky :3
